HAPPY PONGAL !!!

Here is a quick post !!! Wondering why there is cake pictures in Pongal post !!!   Yah its my little ones Birthday too. Its most wonderful day for us.  This is going to be surprise cake for him, if he does not open the fridge till midnight :) When he saw the measured ingredients in the dining table this morning he was asking what am I going to do ? 

Me : I am going to prepare the cake for Dad's office party.  So sad I cannot see his face ... :(  
Son : (So many questions )Why don't you prepare a cake for my Birthday ?  Why don't you prepare some other dish for office party ??  I wish if you prepare cake for us.
Me :  Anyway tomorrow is pongal, amma cannot prepare so many sweets on the same day moreover its not good for health.
Son :  (with the sad face, poor guy)  he said Ok ! At least ask Dad to save a piece of cake for me.

He went to school.  His gifts for Birthday, Cake and small celebration tonight is going to be surprise for him.. I am eagerly waiting for that.  Particularly to see his reaction in his face. 

Anyway Wish you all Happy Pongal Once again !!!
